The 17th National Vocational Skills Competition for Engineering Construction Systems, co-hosted by the China Engineering Construction Welding Association and the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center, kicked off on April 24 at Xizi Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Hangzhou. Shandong Aotai Electric Co., Ltd. served as the equipment support unit for the “Electric Welder” event and safeguarded the competition. This is the fifteenth consecutive time that Aotai has supported the competition.

The 17th National Vocational Skills Competition for Engineering Construction Systems is a national Class-II competition approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and jointly hosted by the China Engineering Construction Welding Association and the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center. The competition features four occupational categories: Electric Welder, Sheet Metal Worker, Non-Destructive Testing Technician, and Welding Equipment Operator. A total of 37 teams and 107 competitors are participating in this edition.

At this edition of the competition, the widely recognized Aotai all-digital intelligent welding power source ES WSME-400Plus once again served as the competition machine for the “Electric Welder” event. The competition provides a valuable platform for skilled welders to showcase their talents and excel. Competitors who have honed their skills here continue to make significant contributions to major national projects and the welding industry. The event also drives the adoption of new technologies, processes, materials, and equipment, giving strong momentum to the development of domestic welding brands.
