The Final of the National Workers’ Digital Application Techniques and Skills Competition was held at Fuzhou Strait International Conference and Exhibition Center on June 7th. The competition was hosted by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and The People's Government of Fujian Province, undertaken by The Chinese Workers' Technical Association, Federation of Trade Unions of Fujian Province, The People's Government of Fuzhou City, and co-organized by Federation of Trade Unions of Fuzhou City. Shandong Aotai assisted in the successful holding of the competition by playing as the welding equipment supplier cooperating with Qianjiang Robot.

The competition involves three job categories: welding equipment operator-robot, building information modeling (BIM) technicians, and UAV operators. 264 players from 32 representative teams from 31 provinces (areas and cities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the final. The competition involves a theory test and practical operation in two parts and is based on National Vocational Skills Standards. The final also was carried out according to the skill requirements for Level 3 of National Vocational Qualification(senior worker).

This competition is the national workers' vocational technical competition first held by the All-China Federation of Trade Union, which faces the application area of digital skills. The topic of this competition is Improving Digital Techniques and Better Playing the Role of the Main Force. This competition aims to fully play the positive role of professional skills competition in building a system for the formation of industrial worker skills and promote the cultivation of more highly skilled talents and great country craftsmen in the digital field. It is a specific measure taken by trade unions to implement requirements for promoting the construction of the digital economy and digital China. CCTV News Channel also reported on the competition.
